Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 22 October 2026Applies to SENTRA services, consoles and sentra-ai.com

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses the SENTRA services, the SENTRA consoles (including the customer portal, SENTRA GUARD and SENTRA VIEW) or this website. It forms part of our Terms of Service and any signed agreement. SENTRA exists to make the internet safer; this policy keeps it that way.

Prohibited uses

You must not use SENTRA, or allow anyone else to use it, to:

  • break any law or regulation, or encourage anyone else to;
  • launch, relay or support attacks of any kind, including denial-of-service attacks, scanning, intrusion attempts, malware distribution, phishing or spam;
  • place behind SENTRA, or route through it, websites, IP ranges or networks you are not authorised to protect;
  • intercept, monitor or inspect traffic you have no legal right to inspect, or process personal data without a lawful basis;
  • host, protect or conceal infrastructure used for criminal activity, abuse, or content that is illegal where it is made available;
  • infringe intellectual property or other rights of any person;
  • harass, threaten or harm others, or protect services that do.

The free Safety Check

The Safety Check on this website performs passive checks only: it reads what the address you enter already shows every visitor, and it sends no attacks, probes no hidden files, scans no ports and attempts no logins. Even so, when you use it:

  • enter an address you own, or one you have a legitimate reason to look up, such as choosing a supplier;
  • do not use it to build lists of targets, or to check large numbers of addresses you have no relationship with;
  • do not try to automate it, work around its rate limits, or use it as part of another service;
  • treat the result as a surface indication, not a security audit of someone else's property.

We rate-limit checks per visitor and may block addresses that abuse the tool. The deeper assessment, which does include active checks, is available only for sites you have proved you control.

Protecting the platform

You must not:

  • access or attempt to access any console, tenant, node or data you are not authorised to use, including another customer's;
  • share sign-in credentials, or let more people use the services than your licence allows;
  • bypass, disable or interfere with licensing, authentication, maker-checker approvals, rate limits or other security controls;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the services except under our Security & Disclosure policy or with our written permission;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the services, except where the law expressly permits it;
  • use the services or their outputs to build a competing product, or benchmark them for publication without our consent;
  • place an unreasonable load on the services or our infrastructure.

Service providers and their customers

If you are a telco, MSP or other provider offering services built on SENTRA, you must include terms at least as protective as this AUP in your contracts with your end customers, enforce them, and act promptly on abuse reports we send you.

Monitoring and enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches of this policy. Access to the SENTRA consoles is logged. If we believe this policy has been breached, we may remove content, suspend or restrict access, or terminate the services, with notice where it is reasonable to give it. We may report illegal activity to the relevant authorities and cooperate with them.

Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse of SENTRA to abuse@sentra-ai.com, with as much detail as you can, such as IP addresses, timestamps and a description. Report security vulnerabilities in SENTRA itself to security@sentra-ai.com.
