Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MizTech Solution ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you visit sentra-ai.com or ask us about SENTRA. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past: it describes what this website actually does.
Who we are
The data controller for this website is MizTech Solution, company registration no. [Company registration no.], of [Registered address]. For anything about your personal data, contact privacy@sentra-ai.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we process for our own purposes through this website. It does not cover data that passes through the SENTRA services on behalf of our customers, such as the web or network traffic a SENTRA AI SHIELD inspects. For that data our customer is the controller and we act on their instructions under our agreement with them. If you are a visitor to a website or network protected by SENTRA, the privacy notice of that website or network operator applies.
The data we collect
When you request a demo
The demo request form asks for your name, company, role, work email address, the product you are interested in, and an optional message. Name, company and email are required so we can reply; the rest is optional. When you submit the form we also record the date and time and the IP address the request came from.
When you run a Safety Check
The Safety Check takes the address you type in and your confirmation that you are authorised to check it. We record that address, the result, the date and time, and the IP address the request came from, so that we can show you the result, stop the tool being abused, and count how often it is used.
To see the full report you give us your email address, and optionally your name and company and whether we may contact you. We save these together with the address checked and its grade, and send them to our sales team at demo@sentra-ai.com so that we can answer questions about the report. If you ticked that we may contact you, we may follow up about the report and about SENTRA; if you did not, we use your email only to record who unlocked the report and to reply if you write to us.
The check reads only information the address you entered already publishes to any visitor: its HTTPS setup, the headers and cookies of its home page, its robots.txt file and its public DNS records. It sends no attacks and changes nothing. If you check an address you do not own, be aware that the request reaches that site as an ordinary visit from our server.
When you browse the site
Like any web server, ours records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, the response code, the referring page, and your browser's user-agent string. We do not combine this with other data to identify you.
Security processing
This website may be protected by a web application firewall, which inspects incoming requests to detect and block attacks. It processes the same technical request data described above and keeps security event records for the period stated in our Data Retention Policy.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and anything you attach.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to include any in the form or in emails.
How we use it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your demo request and arrange a demo | Form data, email correspondence | Your consent when you submit the form, and steps you ask us to take before a possible contract |
| Run the free Safety Check you asked for and show you the result | The address entered, the result, time and IP address | Your request for the service, and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of it |
| Unlock the full Safety Check report and follow up on it | Email address, optional name and company, contact choice, the address checked and its grade | Your request for the full report; your consent where you ticked that we may contact you |
| Keep the website and our systems secure, prevent abuse and spam | Technical request data, IP address | Our legitimate interest in operating a secure service |
| Comply with law and respond to lawful requests | Any of the above, as required | Legal obligation |
| Establish, exercise or defend legal claims | Relevant records | Legitimate interest |
We will not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a demo. If we would like to send you product news, we will ask first, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who host this website and deliver our email, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and auditors, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
- A successor business if all or part of our business is reorganised, merged or sold, subject to this policy.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside the country where you are. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take the steps required by applicable law to protect it, such as transferring only to places with adequate protection or using contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. The exact periods are set out in our Data Retention Policy. For example, demo requests are deleted automatically 24 months after submission unless they turn into a customer relationship, and web server logs are kept for 30 days.
How we protect it
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Demo requests are stored on a server we control, with access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authority of a personal data breach where the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- ask us to delete your data, or to restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable;
- complain to a data protection authority. In Malaysia this is the Personal Data Protection Commissioner; in the EU or UK, your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@sentra-ai.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Language
This notice is provided in English. A Bahasa Malaysia version is available on request from privacy@sentra-ai.com. If the versions differ, the version in the language you requested will apply to you to the extent the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
